My Bro the Slugger for ALS

Full of tears last night as 2 outs, tied in the last inning, my brother is up to bat for the Plain Dealer-Cleveland.com softball championship. He slugs the ball over the stands in a professional baseball stadium to win the game, pointing at dad who was recently diagnosed with the always fatal Lou Gerhigs Disease.

The team had their jerseys made with dads name on the back and dedicated this championship to him and raising awareness to find a cure for this debilitating disease. The team then signed a game ball, where my brother ran from the field, jumped on top of the dug out, and ran into the stands to give the ball to his very hero…. Dad.
